"After the morning rush once everyone is where they need to be, I get a few quiet hours to create. That time grounds me and refuels me for the evening chaos that follows. I feel incredibly lucky to live this life – to have a supportive family and to wake up each day knowing I get to do what I love for a living. It still feels a little surreal, and I never take it for granted."

Meet Australian artist and owner of @art_of_thyme_, Lisa Baker. Though she loved creating when she was young, it wasn't until 2020, after working in retail management for over 20 years, she finally circled back.

Lisa picked up a palette knife and texture medium and rediscovered her passion, finding a special love for the tactile feel of dimensional art. That's how Art of Thyme was born! It’s a little play on words, because after all those years, Lisa  finally found time for art.
