Make an easy Mother’s Day tote bag

If you’re looking for a simple Mother’s Day gift idea, we’ve got it in the bag with this easy Mother’s Day tote bag project. Grab our fabric marker art set and follow along, as we step you through an easy design you can create too!

Extra material you'll need: 

• HB pencil 

Start off by unpacking the Fabric Art Set and find the tote bag inside.

Pull out the marker tray. Unfold the tote bag and lay it flat.

Place a book inside the tote bag so you have a flat surface to work with, plus it’ll catch the markers from bleeding to the other side.

Grab a graphite pencil and begin sketching your design, we chose “I love my mum.” Add any final definition to your design with graphite pencil.

Grab your favourite coloured art markers and dive in.

Reach for the puffy paints and add a heart.

Add more colour to your design to mix it up.

Keep adding more colour until your design is filled.

Leave to dry, then iron under a piece of paper to set your design. Avoid ironing any puffy paint. Once set, it’s ready to gift to mum!
